Violin completed in Nov 2002.
This violin is built on a Guarneri pattern using European Spruce
for the top and a beautifully flamed two piece back of Canadian
Maple. The wood on this violin has been cut over 30 years prior
to construction. The two piece top is of very fine grain in the
center becoming medium at the outer edges. It has a nice even sound
that is neither too dark or too soft and is very open and balanced.
It is entirely handmade by violin maker Marc Gregoire.
