Violin
completed in Sept 2002. This violin is built on a Guarneri pattern
using only European wood. It has a two piece back of nicely flamed
maple slanting upwards. The beautiful two piece top has very even
medium to fine grain across it's entire width. The
neck and scroll are also of nicely flamed maple. This violin plays
wonderfully with a nice open sound that leans slightly towards the
dark side but not excessively. It is entirely hand made by violin
maker Marc Gregoire.
